As well as organising our own events, BASH can provide a fuss-free medieval festival

by bringing our performance troupe and living history encampment to you.

a festival at your venue

If you have an historic venue, open-air museum, stately home or castle, and have a green space that is accessible to the public, then we can create a festival to suit you.

We can also provide encampments suitable for community fairs or festivals, giving small-scale events an historical theme and an added level of professionalism.

  • our colourful period tents, dressed with heraldic banners and festive bunting, make a wonderful backdrop for events and give the public a flavour of the life of travelling entertainers
  • costumed performers from the troupe provide music, puppetry, games, stilt-walking, juggling and traditional crafts throughout the day
  • food for the troupe is prepared on open fires in our portable medieval kitchen using reproduction cookware, following authentic medieval recipes
